Distraction Techniques

I have been extremely busy painting over the last month. It has been a great distraction as the injection site reactions to 'Strensig' (Asfotase Alfa) have become more and more itchy. The reactions are showing within hours now and are extremely irritating for three days. So the reactions are coming up quicker but also diminishing more rapidly. The bone pain over the last few days has been horrible. Real gnawing aching that has needed some serious pain relief and heat and ice. Working with the hot wax and blow torches has been a real source of comfort because of the heat and also as I am able to totally focus on the work.
